Set of two Ginori 1735 dessert plates from the Oriente Italiano collection in Mauve. A complete table setting must include plates for each course. This set of two Mauve-colored dessert plates - with a diameter of 21 cm - will allow you to complete your table setting with dishes for serving appetizers, desserts and, if you wish, fruit. Breaking from more formal tradition, we like to think they might also be great to use at breakfast or snack time, perhaps under a delicious slice of cake. With the Oriente Italiano collection, we present a wide and colorful assortment of tableware, tea and coffee sets and home décor items that was born from our boundless passion for creative experimentation, always linked to the traditions of the past, a passion that has inspired us to search for specific colors to best enhance the iconic Antico Doccia line, to present it in a new guise while being equally capable of communicating our savoir faire in a present-day language. To this end, we wanted to reinterpret the historic "carnation" decoration of Faenza ceramics in our own style, and to embellish all of our Oriente Italiano porcelain with it. The entire assortment of the collection is available in ten bright color varieties that are astonishing in their brilliance: Mauve, Barium, Iris, Periwinkle, Citrine, Powder, Malachite, Azalea, Albus and Vermilion. All Mauve items are embellished with finishes in pure gold.
